Touchscape, A Striptease of Emotions
by James Scruggs Directed by Mark Rayment A work in progress showing at Dixon Place, following a residency at The Baryishikov Arts Center. Work in Progress Premiere 2010 Dixon Place, NYC Touchscape is a series of monologs exploring the many ways men
interact with each other from friendship to intimacy and incest. |
It is an exploration of the celebration, observation, and abhorrence, of intimate, random, unusual, fringe and socially unacceptable male to male contact. It is a raw, close-up emotional snapshot of the sensual life of several contemporary urban men.
